Four more packs for RPG Maker hit the store, A cool Cozy Cottage, a vibrant city, an exciting amusement park, and awesome pixel based battlebacks!

Settle in with a cup of tea and lovely company with the Cozy Cottage Pack! Mecchi is here with 8 sweet elf characters for your players to meet in a small and friendly town. With character sprites, facesets, SV battlers, and even bust pictures for each, you can create a team of adorable party members or just choose one for your players and let the rest be NPCs that your players want to get to know. Mecchi’s cartoony artstyle offers up a lot of personality in each bust, from bright smiles on the young red-headed woman’s face when saying hello to pissed off yelling coming from the pack’s short motherly figure if your players do something dangerous. Create a town where a tall pink-haired man runs the local shop, the library is cared for by a shy glasses-wearing booklover, a stylish long-haired woman takes care of local politics, and the scruffy old man who lives in the nearby woods is always ready to offer up some advice.

This pack also includes a half sheet of B tiles, to help make your hero’s house feel more like a home. Set comfortable wooden chairs around a table where freshly baked bread and steeping iced tea are waiting for your hero to munch on, and decorate the living room with framed pictures and potted plants flanking a soft green couch. Use the tiles to add some personality to other character’s homes, such as sprouting plants on the gardener’s counter or a briefcase set carefully next to a desk in the home of a no-nonsense businesswoman. Pick up the Cozy Cottage Pack and fill your game’s town with adorable characters!

Upgrade the fun on your maps with the Amusement Park! Tileset! Wataru Nakanami has created tiles for some common rides you can find in theme parks so you can turn any map into a theme park! Place a gilded carousel with a bright white and blue roof in the center of a town square to give your young hero-to-be something to enjoy while their parents shop, and add to a festival with a popup amusement park! Turn any building into a haunted house with a spooky sign decorated with a zombie and help keep your hero’s energy up with corn dogs, french fries, or popcorn from food carts. Avoid the pastel spinning cups if your hero has a weak stomach, and send him to watch the Kuma character dance around in their yellow or pink bear costume instead! Balloons tied to the ground can guide your players right to the park’s star attractions, a large ferris wheel and the roller coaster! Each ride comes with a lit-up version so you can keep the fun going no matter if it’s daytime or late at night, or use them to have the map suddenly go dark when it’s time for something spooky to happen!

This pack includes sample projects for MV and MZ, so you can see just how these tiles can work with the defaults. So if you’re looking for a few more tiles to add more fun to your vacation maps or need a haunted house sign for the start of your horror game, check out the Amusement Park! Tileset!

Have you personalized everything in your battles except the battlebacks? Then you need to check out the Pixellen Battle Backgrounds Pack! Moonbow7 let the SNES pixel art style inspire this pack, bringing 12 detailed battlebacks to life! Start your hero’s adventure in a familiar place, with battles against weak slimes in a grassy field or deep in a lush forest. Or surprise your players with a sudden fight in your hero’s hometown, with gray cobblestone under their feet and simple buildings in the background.

As your hero’s party explores more of the world, let them battle new opponents all over the globe, from the bright sandy beaches near an ocean to the rocky cliffs of the highest mountains! Battle foes in deep underground caverns and empty tundras where snow covers all but the hardiest weeds searching for dungeons, and when your heroes finally find the dungeons have them fight in its ancient stone halls. And when it’s finally time to defeat the Big Bad, fight them in a dark subspace of their own creation! Even modern or sci-fi games can make use of these battlebacks, with specially designed ones for a sidewalk next to a graffitied red-brick wall, an underground tunnel where green sewage flows, and a clean spaceship hallway with a window looking out into star-lit darkness.

Each battleback is sized at 1504 x 720 pixels, making it easy to use them even if you’re using a wider resolution than normal. So if you’ve been searching for some pixel art battlebacks, make sure to pick up the Pixellen Battle Backgrounds Pack!

Create a lively modern city with the SERIALGAMES Living Good Tileset! SERIALGAMES Inc. is here with a pack of tiles focusing on Japanese-inspired exteriors. A1, A2, A4, A5, and a B sheet are ready for you to build a thriving city. Have your players start the game by arriving at the town’s train station, where weeds grow in the dirt near the train tracks if it’s a small town or the tracks run above busy asphalt roads if the city is huge. Create streets in the business district with skyscrapers decorated with billboards and signs advertising local shops, and small alleyways lined with lanterns and tiny places to grab a bite to eat. When the rush of city life gets to be too much, let your players take a break in a park with lots of grass to touch and flowers to enjoy. Maybe a turn on the playground’s swings is exactly what they need, or they could always walk the elevated paths over a pond where swan boats peacefully float.

Each sheet comes in three variations depending on the time of day (day, dusk, and night), so you can show just how long your players spent playing in the park and have special events that only occur at certain times of day. Maybe your players can only buy snacks during the day, or a certain romanceable character is only around after work ends at 5pm. This pack also includes sample projects for MV and MZ, so you can see how to set each sheet’s passability. If you want to make a modern Japanese town or need to show different times of day during important cutscenes, check out the SERIALGAMES Living Good Tileset!
